The Western Ontario Wardens Caucus is backing a call from the Association of Municipalities of Ontario to get the province to the table to review the provincial/municipal fiscal framework as part of an upcoming budget.
AMO which represents all 444 municipalities in Ontario has highlighted the need for a social and economic review as part of its pre-budget submission to the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs.
A review of the provincial-municipal financial arrangement has not been done since 2008.
