This Sunday, August 21st will see baseball fans in Wroxeter be able to catch some great action on the diamond as well as raise money for Victim Services Huron County. The day will see the Wroxeter Rippers take on the Walton Brewers with first pitch at 2 pm.
Victim Services Lead Crisis Responder for Huron County Dawson Currie says lots of fun things will be going on to raise funds for the community organization.
“There is going to be some raffles, some silent auction items, barbeque by donation with all of the money going back into our community through Victim Services of Huron County”.
The foundation of the event came out of tragedy with the community losing a team member of the Wroxeter Rippers Brayden Berberich who was also a Paramedic serving the area. He passed away in August of last year. They are hoping to make the fundraiser day a yearly event.
