17-year-old North Middlesex Driver charged in Collision with Goderich Public School

The incident early July 24th resulted in charges of dangerous operation, taking a vehicle without consent and mischief over $5,000.

The Huron County OPP have laid criminal charges in relation to a collision of a minivan into an exterior wall of Goderich Public School back on July 24th.

Officers, Goderich Fire and Huron County EMS were called to the scene around 5:50 am.

Upon arrival they discovered the vehicle had crashed into the east side of the Elementary School causing extensive damage to the library and an adjoining classroom.

The driver, a 17-year-old from North Middlesex has been charged with dangerous operation, taking a vehicle without consent and mischief over $5,000. He has been released from custody with a  future court date in Goderich.
