The 2nd annual Bruce County Housing Forum was another success to discuss housing actions between municipal and county representatives.
On April 11th municipal leaders and county staff discussed the need, supply and affordability of housing in Bruce County.
Actions taken by the housing team over the last year were highlighted including completing a housing needs assessment, affordable housing toolkit, home share study and updating zoning to permit additional residential units.
The information shared during the forum will be considered as staff work on a Housing Action Plan to lead the County between 2024-2026 on housing.
