One person is in custody after an assault in Chesley.
On February 19th, South Bruce OPP received a report of an assault which took place on 1st Avenue South.
A few days later on February 21st, OPP arrested one person in relation to the matter.
As a result a 30 year old man of Arran-Elderslie was charged with Assault, Assault with a Weapon, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Trespassing at Night.
The accused was held for bail and remanded into custody.
