The Wingham and District Hospital Foundation is celebrating the success of the second event hosted by the Future Care Collective.

This is also the groups first ever Shadow Reception.

The evening saw members come together for a Pitches and Pitchers themed event with food, friendly competition and community spirit which raised $34,200 in support of equipment for the Wingham and District Hospital.

Three project pitches were heard over the night with members casting their vote to determine which project would receive the funding with the winning being for a new ultrasound machine to enhance diagnostic imaging services.

This project was pitched by Jaide Campbell, Diagnostic Imaging Manager alongside Medical Radiation Technologist Heather Logan.
