A 54 year old woman is facing multiple charges after shoplifting in Hanover.
On July 28th, police were called about the incident where investigation found a woman had stolen over $3000 worth of products using an electronic device to bypass an anti theft alarm system.
Hanover Police also found the suspect had two outstanding warrants for similar thefts from the same pharmacy.
Over these 3 thefts, the value was almost $10,000 in goods.
The 54 year old woman of Markham was arrested and remanded into custody on 3 counts of Theft Under $5000, 3 counts of Possession of Stolen Property and 3 counts of Unlawful Use of a Computer.
The suspect is also being investigated in other parts of the province for similar crimes.
