Huron Hospice Set to Open Bayfield Thrift Shoppe

The Hospice Hospice is set this weekend for the grand opening of its Thrift Shoppe in Bayfield.

The historic blue house at 5 The Square will be the spot on August 22nd for the grand opening complete with live music and the formal program at 1pm to mark the latest innovative fundraising project by the hospice.

Willy Van Klooster, Executive Director of the Hospice says they intend to operate a good quality thrift store, offering exceptional deals and good customer service.

This store acts a unique way for generate revenue for the Hospice who only receive 50 per cent of its revenue from the provincial government, mainly relying on donations to cover the other $700,000 needed annually.
