North Huron sees progress in Huron Heights Development

Hiring of BM Ross for Various Aspects of Project Approved

The Municipality of North Huron provided an update on what was discussed at last months’ Council Meeting.

Key on the agenda was the progress on the Huron Heights Development.

The Council approved a phased plan for external water and sanitary components and approved BM Ross as their agent for various stages in the construction process and for them to proceed with preparing a tender for external works in accordance with the phasing plan.

Also announced at the meeting was that ice will be delayed in going into North Huron Wescast Community Complex until October 1st.

This is to permit staff to work with Huron Perth Public Health on vaccination efforts at the facilty. The delay will not impact the regular ice season.
