Huron County has announced that their Children’s Services department is covering the fees for October that parents pay for those accessing licensed childcare in the County.
The move is being made the County by accessing funds received by the Ministry of Education from the Province of Ontario and the Federal Government.
Huron County Warden Glen McNeil says that supporting providers and families that access these services is particularly important as many face increased pressure and financial burden due to the pandemic.
Licensed child care providers will directly bill Huron County Children’s Services so no action is required by parents or guardians to take part in the program.
