Kincardine Honouring Residential School Survivors & Families This Week

The Municipality of Kincardine will honour former residential school students and their families during this week which includes on Thursday for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation also known as Orange Shirt Day.

The day is now recognized as of this year as a Federal Holiday. Kincardine will fly the orange Every Child Matter flag and the Canadian Flag at half mast during the week.

Residents can pickup Orange Shirt Day, Every Child Matter stickers and information about the Residential School system at the Visitor Centre, Davidson Centre and Municipal Administration Centre.
