The future of the Goderich airport was brought up at Huron County Council.

A consultant’s report came to Council that centres around the viability of the airport.

Warden Glen McNeil says the report contained information on the possible economic opportunities for the airport.

A task force was established to determine ways to make the airport attractive to potential users.

McNeil cites the Ornge air ambulance that uses the airport to transport people to other hospitals, and there is more to an airport than just economics.
