It was Black Friday in some ways for the Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board.
A report to the board last Tuesday by Superintendent of Business and Treasurer Alecia Lantz revealed that they ended their fiscal year with a surplus of $901,773.
In a news release, the Board says throughout the pandemic, they remained diligent in managing expenditures.
They say the 2020-2021 school year provided a journey filled with faith, reflection, and reconnection, and were able to meet the challenges head-on.
