A task force is being established to go over the issue of short-term rentals in Goderich.
The current by-law allows bed and breakfasts inside residential homes provided that the owner lives there.
Mayor John Grace says the six-member task force will look into finding a solution.
Short-term rentals such as AirBnB’s where the property owner does not reside there are not permitted in the town.
Grace says there have been complaints from residents about noise coming from these places.
He says the task force will hold public meetings and solicit public input on the matter.
