The Town of Goderich is preparing to reopen the Town Hall to the public.

A date has been set for Tuesday January 4th for the return of in-person services.

Mayor John Grace says the building is currently open in a limited capacity but expects have the entire building open under Stage 4 of their plan.

Grace hints that Council may also return to live, in-person meetings in January but says they have yet to determine how that will happen.

He says the important thing about reopening some of their municipal offices is the safety of both staff and the public.

The Town Hall has been closed since the start of the pandemic and Council has also been holding meeting virtually since then.
