But the Co-Chair of the Huron Shores Hospice took one for the team as they surpassed their fundraising goal.
Cheryl Cottrill announced on Facebook Wednesday, the final totals of their campaign.
As promised, Cottrill let Executive Director Cathy Herbert throw a cream pie at her face live on Facebook.

Local groups doing their part to raise money on Giving Tuesday included the Tiverton & District Lions Club donating $1,000 and Bruce Power donation match of $5,000.
The Society of United Professionals pledged to match donations to the Hospice until the end of the year to a maximum of $10,000.
