Saugeen Shores is welcoming five new doctors.
The Town announced that they have reached agreements with the five physicians as well as a nurse practitioner.
Two of the newly acquired doctors have already set up practice.
Doctor Christina Musngi is working out of the Dr. Earl Health Centre in Port Elgin.
Doctor Kim Whittaker is currently working in emergency services and will start practice at the Dr. Earl clinic next June.
In January, Doctor Shaji Khan will be starting her practice out of the Dr. Earl office.
Doctors Oksana Lavasova (August 2023) and Joel Young (July 2024) will also be setting up their practice in the town.
In addition to the five doctors, a second nurse practitioner is working out of the Saugeen Shores Medical Clinic in Southampton.
