With local restaurants restricted to takeout and delivery until at least January 26th local business owners have been forced to get creative in terms of the ways in which they attract customers.

Diana Sweets a Listowel area eatery has found serendipitous timing with the launch of their takeout menu and a mention they received on a new episode of the Crave Comedy Letterkenny.

The show was the topic of a scene in which characters on the show discussed the “Diana Sweets $25 Steak Dinner” in comedic fashion.

Diana Sweets Co-Owner Tammi Cressi says it’s no surprise Letterkenny Co-Creator Jared Kesso is promoting his hometowns businesses.

“I have yet to read or hear an interview with Jared (Letterkenny Show Creator and actor playing “Wayne”) where he hasn’t mentioned where he came from. I think that is really fantastic.”

The Famous Letterykenny Steak Dinner is now a reality and one of the items on the restaurants recent takeout menu.
