With Ontario returning to step two of the road map to reopening, all hockey leagues under the Ontario Hockey Federation are suspending the season until at least January 26th when the measures are expected to be lifted.

A statement from PJHL Commissioner Terry Whiteside was released on Tuesday saying the league’s number one concern is the health sand safety of players, coaches, arena staff and fans.

The PJHL and the GOJHL both say they are working on contingency plans to prepare for all possible scenarios.

The Western Ontario Athletic Association is also suspending the Senior Men’s hockey season during the shutdown.
