There is a contest for students in Bruce, Huron, and Grey interested in protecting the earth from further environmental damage.

The Nuclear Innovation Institute’s Explore program is hosting a one-day event during the March Break called World Climate Simulation.

In a news release, the simulation will be an in-person role-playing exercise of United Nations (UN) climate change negotiations in which participants experience the necessary speed and level of action that nations must take to address global climate change.

The winning team of five will win $3,000.

Students can register their team of five by sending team member names and emails to explore@nii.ca.

Deadline is Friday March 11th.
