A group of Kincardine residents are planning a protest outside the municipal offices.|
It is over the vulgar comments made by Councillor Dave Cuyler that were believed to be directed towards Councillor Laura Haight.
The demonstration is being organized by Meghan Fair and Cheryl Cottrill.
In a news release by the group, the peaceful protest is aimed towards Council to bring back respect and decorum to the Council chambers.
The protest is scheduled for 4 Monday afternoon prior to the start of the Committee of the Whole and Planning Corporate Services Committee meetings.
Fair was on our morning show saying the incident is taking focus away on other issues.
Meanwhile, the matter over Cuyler’s comments is being investigated by the Municipality’s Integrity Commissioner.
