Saugeen Shores will have twice the curling fun in 2023.
The Port Elgin Curling Club and Curling Ontario announced on Thursday that the town will host both the 2023 Tankard Ontario Men’s Curling Championship and the 2023 Scotties Ontario Women’s Curling Championship.
President of the Board of Directors at the curling club Earl Anderson says the success of the Tankard this past February enabled them to secure both the men’s and women’s championships next year.
Anderson says the Tankard has gotten people both young and old interested in taking up the sport.
The 2023 Ontario Tankard and Scotties will take place January 23rd to the 29th, 2023.
