Laurie Hazzard is a former nurse and teacher, and is the NDP candidate in Huron Bruce in the June 2nd provincial election.

She says there are issues surrounding health care, education, and affordable housing, and believes the NDP under Andrea Horwath can help solve those problems.

Hazzard says her decision to run in the provincial election was to put up or shut up.

Hazzard believes even those who have voted Conservative or Liberal in the past will be attracted to the NDP’s vision for Ontario.

Hazzard will go up against PC incumbent Lisa Thompson, the Liberal’s Shelley Blackmore, Matthew Van Ankum of the Green Party, and Matt Kennedy of the New Blue Party.
