Westario Power and Bruce Power Net Zero announced it’s first Electric Vehicle charging station as part of their Lead the Charge Initiative with it being on track to being installed in Brockton this summer.

The installation of the first of three potential EV charging stations in Brockton is set to get underway at the community centre, which serves as a local hub in it’s centralized location in downtown Walkerton.

In addition to this site the other two sites being considered are at the Elmwood Community Centre and the Cargill Community Centre.

Currently there are only 45 accessible charging stations across the three counties that combined are home to more than 200,000 people.
