Bruce County is taking constructive steps on housing and homelessness in Bruce County.
Today, Thursday July 7th, the Human Services Committee Meeting, Bruce County Council received the 2021 Housing and Homelessness plan progress report highlighting the progress made so far and what is to come.
A few of the key 2022 highlights were focusing on affordable housing, housing benefit programs, as well as demographics, allowances and planning.
A phase 2 of the Affordable Housing Development Toolkit will be released in the fall of 2022.
