The Port Elgin Rotary Club raised $22,000 for the The Huron Shores Hospice following a successful golf tournament at the Saugeen Golf Club on Friday.
Committee chair Kevin Carter thanked all the sponsors, golfers and volunteers who made the event a superb providing special shout outs to Hilary, Mark, Rob, Randy, Mel Kaitlin, Jeryn, Judy Ken, Erin, Mike Jess, Tracy and Sue.
The Hospice says the donation will help them support quality end-of-life care for neighbours, friends and family.
