The Kincardine & District Chamber of Commerce has planned an all-candidates meeting, in anticipation of the October 24 municipal election.
The meeting will be held at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine, in the lower-level room, on Monday, September 26, beginning at 6 p.m.
The meeting will be held in an open-question format, allowing members of the public to address candidates with their questions. Each candidate will be given the opportunity to respond to questions within a specific time limit.
All candidates running for the positions of mayor, deputy mayor and councilor within the Municipality of Kincardine will be invited to participate.
There is no admission charge or pre-registration required for the event, but seating is limited.
So far, nine people have declared their candidacy for mayor, councillor and school trustee. You can find the full list here.
