Bruce County shared word of a public meeting in regards to the project of replacing the bridge which spans the Saugeen River along Bruce Road 4 in Walkerton.
They advise that recent inspections have identified deterioration with a number of bridge components.
The County says it is considering alternatives associated with a new bridge design as well as detour alternatives to allow traffic to get around the site during construction.
The Meeting is set for Tuesday, October 4th at the Walkerton Community Centre with an open house at 6 pm and the formal presentation at 6:30 pm.
Residents are able to submit their input until November 4th following the meeting.
