Huron County set to Recognize National Day of Truth & Reconciliation on September 30th

To commemorate the Day, the County’s departments are offering variety of indigenous resources & learning from Indigenous sources, which the public is invited to explore and participate in.

The County of Huron says it recognizes the importance of Truth and Reconciliation and is responding to the 94 calls to action.

To commemorate the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th, the County’s departments are offering a variety of indigenous resources & learning from Indigenous sources, which the public is invited to explore and participate in.

The Huron County Museum is hosting screenings of National Day for Truth & Reconciliation Films, the Huron County Library will be giving away buttons in support of the Orange Shirt Society at all branch locations and multiple reading lists will be able to learn more about Truth and Reconciliation Day.
