Bruce Power announced yesterday it has completed the Unit 6 fuel channel installation.
The major milestone reached on Tuesday advances the Province’s largest clean-energy infrastructure project.
Eric Chassard, Bruce Power’s Executive VP or Projects & Engineering says the installation of 480 fuel channels took a lot of teamwork and it sets them up for not only the successful completion of the Unit 6 major component replacement project next year but also for subsequent MCR outages over the next decade.
The privately funded investment into Units 3 to 8 will extend the life of Bruce Power through 2064.
