Huron County OPP Execute Search Warrants at Residences in Vanastra

The Huron County OPP executed drug warrants at two Vanastra residences yesterday which culminated a trafficking investigation by the Street Crimes Unit.

As a result of the operation police seize a quantity of suspected fentanyl , methamphetamine and hydromorphone.

The combined street value is estimated at just over 38 thousand dollars.

In addition to the seized controlled substances, police also seized offence property consisting of a cellphone and 15 hundred dollars in cash.

They also seized a pellet rifle, pellet pistol, air soft pistol, ammunition, brass knuckles, various knives and throwing stars.

A 44 year old female and 46 and 44 year old males all of Huron East have been charged with possession related offences.

The 46 year old male was also charged with unauthorize possession of a weapon and ammunition in contrary to prohibition.

A 37 year old male of Central Huron and 43 year old male of no fixed addressed were also charged.
