The Port Elgin 2023 Ontario Tankard/Scotties in Saugeen Shores announced that following a tiebreaker last night on the Scotties side the field has been set for both the Tankard & Scotties presented by Bruce Power at the Plex in Port Elgin.
Saturday morning at 9:30 Scotties crossover playoffs continue with Team Carly Howard of Mississauga Golf & Country Club taking on Team Danielle Inglis of the Ottawa Hunt Club.
At 12:50 pm the Ontario Special Olympics Provincial Curling Championships take place with 4 teams on the ice. The event is free of charge and fans that attend can win 1 of 4 great prizes for attending and cheering on the teams.
At 2:30 pm the crossover games for both the Tankard & the Scotties take place.
Competing are:
- Team Mike Fournier vs Team Mike McEwen
- Team Glenn Howard vs Team John Epping
- Team Rachel Homan vs Team Carly Howard
- Team Holly Duncan vs Team Danielle Inglis
Then at 7:30 pm both the Tankard & Scotties Semi-Finals take place.
Unfortunately, all of those draws are sold out. If after one end of play the organizers see there is fan space available, they will let additional people in the building according to that availability.
