North Huron council will be taking steps at their next meeting to fill two sudden vacancies on Wingham’s 2024 Homecoming Committee.
Earlier in the week a Facebook group dedicated to the planning made a post saying there would be no more future planning.
North Huron’s Clerk says the result of the post came as members from the committee chose to resign from their positions.
Officials say they have high hopes the empty seats on the committee will be easily filled and the plans for homecoming will remain.
