The Ripley & District Lions Club announced that at its meeting Wednesday night, Lion Sandy Pollock was presented with a Melvin Jones Fellowship by District Governor Larry Irwin.
Lion Sandy was recognized for his many community contributions.
Special mention was made for his farm equipment assistance at their fundraising and service event.
The club congratulations Sandy and thank him for his dedicated service to their club and the community.
The event also featured the Legion ladies serving a delicious ham and scalloped potato dinner.
