Nursing Education gets boost from Donation from RBC Foundation

Nursing education is getting a financial boost from the RBC Foundation announced as part of the celebration of National Nursing Week this week.

It sees a donation of a total of $500,000 to 22 hospitals across the province over 3 years to support nurses access to education, training resources and mental health care.

The money is accessible by nurses for financial assistance in earning a post-graduate degree, attending a conference or completing a specialized course.

One of the local hospitals benefiting from the funding is Clinton Public Hospital who are set to receive $15,000.
