The Town fo Goderich has implemented a watering regulation as of May 15th.
It sees even numbered properties watering their lawns on even numbered calendar days during the hours of 7 to 9 am and 7 to 9 pm.
Odd numbered properties water their lawns during those times on odd numbered days.
The restriction is in place until August 31st.
Anyone with automatic watering systems is asked to follow the even and odd numbered restriction between the hours of 2:30 and 6 am.
Use of water from the municipal system for all otherwise lawful purposes such as new sod needs to be approved by special permit from the town.
