The Huron Shores Hospice held its Annual Hike for Hospice Fundraiser on Saturday and saw great support both in walkers and money raised.
The event, which started and finished at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine saw around 70 walkers take part.
The goal for the event was to raise $45,000 for the hospice but in the end the goal was smashed with everyone raising over $59,000.
The top fundraisers for teams was the Nuclear Power Design Team with over $18,000 raised and individual was Shelly Parker with over $5,500 raised.
Next up for the hospice is the Rock’n Roll for Hospice concert fundraiser on Saturday, May 27th at the Davidson Centre.
