Lucknow’s Jurjen Weerman is well underway starting his trek to cycle 8700km from Jordan River, B.C to Saint Johns raising money along the way in support of the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation.
The 57 year old started his trip on May 27th with two friends who has hopes to complete the trip in August.
Donations made to the hospital will go directly to upgrade the chemical analyzer at the hospital.
Weerman who was born in the Netherlands felt inspired to get back on his bike during the pandemic in 2020 and had been long considering riding across the country.
