The Nuclear Innovation Institute Explore Program is launching new hands-on science activities like building elastic-powered race cars & exploring sound with homemade harps with its Science in Summer teams hitting the roads this summer.
They will be visiting day camps, libraries, outdoor markets and other locations across Bruce, Grey & Huron Counties.
The program, sponsored by Bruce Power, brings hands-on learning to rural students of all ages, with topics like the science of music, motion, engineering, energy and more.
Last year they delivered STEM activities in 21 communities and reached over 3,200 children and families.
