Region set for over $6.9 in Healthcare Upgrade Funding from the Province

MPP’s for Huron-Bruce Lisa Thompson and Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound Rick Byers jointly announced the Province is investing just over $9.3 million dollars for critical upgrades & repairs to local health care facilities.

The money is to address urgent infrastructure renewal needs including upgrading  & roof replacement, windows, security systems, fire alarms and backup generators.

Individual funding includes just over $35,000 to the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital, just over $872,000 to Clinton.

Grey Bruce Health Services collectively is getting just under $2.5 million dollars, Seaforth just over $1 million, South Bruce Grey Health Services just over $820,000 and Wingham & District Hospital just over $320,000.
