Huron County council is moving forward with its affordable housing project, awarding a project tender of $13.2 million to Bronnenco Construction Ltd.
The project will see 40 new rental housing units in Goderich with one and two bedroom units.
Also added in will be office spaces, secure entrances and environmentally friendly additions such as electric heating and cooling.
Construction on the housing project is expected to start next spring and be finished sometime in mid 2025.
