Unemployment across the region has gone up within the last month.
The numbers punched by the Four County Labour Market Planning Board showed the unemployment rate in the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region increased by 0.4 percentage points in January, bringing the total to 4.8 per cent.
The biggest losses were in full time positions with some minor gains in part time.
Drops in forestry, mining, fishing, quarrying and oil with gains in the manufacturing industry.
