NII Explore has joined up with the Bluewater District School Board and 28 different energy industry partners to launch the first ever Energy Sector Co-op in the region.
The launch is to help address the expected growth in Canada’s clean energy sector over the next decade.
The inaugural co-op class from Kincardine District Senior Schools’ Energy Specialist High Skills Major Program will be the first to get the chance to experience a list of jobs in the energy industry.
This addition will mean hands on training in skills in construction, project management, welding, emergency management, robotics, computer science, scaffolding and more.
