The Station Beach Boardwalk design will be among council discussion today in Kincardine.
The 2023 Waterfront Master Plan showed the boardwalk replacement should be aimed at enhancing visitor safety and reducing municipal liability, costs and maintenance.
The current boardwalk continues to decline and in need of improvement.
As per a staff recommendation its said council should approve a conceptual design for the Station Beach Board and once given the green light, GMBlueplan can go ahead with developing tender documents for construction.
Council meets at 5pm.
