The Municipality of Kincardine has received the Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan in a recent council meeting.
Consultations began in the summer under the guidance of McQueen Galloway Associates with the public getting the chance to share their thoughts on the foundation for the plan.
The plan includes some recommendations for indoor facilities including the Davidson Centre, Ice Pads and Indoor Pools and Gymnasiums.
Jayne Jagelewski, Director of Community Services says the plan helps them to map a precise direction from work plans through to budget and staffing needs.
