MPP Rick Byers was in Hanover on Saturday making a trip to the Legion Branch 130 to congratulate the Legion of their $95,800 grant from the Ontario Trillium foundation.
The grant, awarded in 2023 was used to replace the Legion’s damaged and aging roof with the project started in January, allowing the continued use of the facility for recreational and social activities.
Dan Haverson, President of the Hanover Legion Branch 130 says their facility will continue to operate and serve the citizens of Hanover and will now continue to be available for community activities over the years.
