Kincardine has launched the Beach Blazers Volunteer Program.
Similar to the Trail Blazers program last fall, Beach Blazers walk Station Beach during peak beach times acting as ambassadors and an extra set of eyes for the municipality.
Volunteers will be conducting surveys, collecting user feedback while monitoring the area and depending on comments or concerns will report them to staff, bylaw enforcement or the OPP as appropriate.
The Beach Blazers will start their work at Station Beach the week of June 24th and run until September 2nd.
The schedule covers a variety of peak times on weekdays and weekends.
