Just a little over a week before Canada Day and Grey Bruce OPP have kicked off the Canada Day Week Traffic Campaign.
This year police continue to promote and enforce laws around safety equipment for the annual Canada Day campaign which will run from June 21st-July 2nd.
During this time Grey Bruce OPP will once again put a major focus on the “Big Four” factors of death and injuries on highways, trails and waterways including aggressive driving, impaired driving, distracted driving and lack of safety equipment.
Canada Day Week also focused on off road vehicle and motorcycle helmet use and boats.
During the last Canada Day Week campaign, 272 traffic charges were laid by Grey Bruce OPP.
