Saugeen Shores has announced WaterWheels floating wheelchairs are now available for day use at select beaches.

These wheelchairs can be booked from the towns website using self service booking or from an available QR code at rental locations.

Mayor Luke Charbonneau says these floating wheelchairs along their mobility mats will help ensure everyone has the chance to enjoy the beautiful Lake Huron waters.

WaterWheels are a floating three wheeled buggy chair which allows access to beaches and water both available for use by adults and kids.

Accessible beach mats are also available to assist with mobility to the water.
