It was the use of life jackets which led to no injuries after police responded to a capsized watercraft at Station Beach on Monday.

South Bruce OPP responded to the beach at 8:41pm for a personal watercraft which capsized on Lake Huron about 400 metres from shore.

Two people were reported yelling for help of the Kincardine Coast in the waterway with police located both individuals who were both wearing life jackets.

Both were taken to shore and observed by EMS with no injuries with the vessel also returned to shore.
